For keen mountain-bikers Nelson features some of the world’s best adventure cycle trails. Many of Nelson’s rivers are just moments away for keen anglers or just for a swim or a stroll. The beaches are diverse and many; from the golden sands of Abel Tasman National Park to the warm and gentle waters of the Waimea Inlet. The fishing is superb.
